Our Designer's Picks!

With so many upcoming staging projects with different interior styles, we sat down with our design team this month to talk about some of their favorite pieces from our newest warehouse arrivals. They shared with us their take on the latest trends and how they can adapt different pieces for each unique home.

Boucle Texture

Boucle fabric is making a big appearance in home decor this year, and it is easy to see why. The durable fabric is adaptable to many different styles, from modern to mid-century. Our design team started incorporating this texture into our stagings late last year, and the trend has only continued to gain popularity. From plush sofas to modern dining chairs, it is a texture that continues to be in high demand.

Unique Shapes

When it comes to staging homes in San Diego, our designers are used to working with different styles. One home they recently loved planning for was A Rare Mid Century Modern Jewel in the Heart of La Jolla. In this home, they used one of our newest pieces of inventory, the boucle architectural bench. This unique piece is a combination of artwork and functionality and brings an eye-catching moment to the home’s living space. Our team is always keeping an eye out for unique pieces to include in our exclusive inventory here at BlueGrape Staging.

Terracotta Stoneware

Samantha, one of our lead designers, spoke to us while pulling accessories for an upcoming staging, telling us how much fun she is having incorporating our newest terracotta and stoneware into projects. The unique shapes of these new vases have a young feel that works really well when styling spaces designed for families. She says, “They bring a touch of unique youthfulness to a home.”

Wood Accents

Our sourcing team has recently added a number of new wood decor pieces, that our designers love styling throughout, but especially in homes with a coastal influence such as this Coastal Modern Masterpiece. Wood elements have always been a great way to soften a space, but especially when it comes to decor, they lend an organic touch to the home. Our designers are using a lot of wood bowls, candlesticks, and vases in our current and upcoming stagings.
