STAGING DAY CHECKLIST

Things to remember – Before the Staging Install

The BlueGrape team is looking forward to staging your home!. As we prepare for your staging install date please review the following to ensure a successful staging install:

  1. Property readiness: Prior to staging install date please ensure home is professionally cleaned and ready to install staging. Driveway should be free of vehicles and any items blocking the driveway, so that the truck can park and movers can carry through furniture and staging items safely.

  2. Access:
    a. On the staging day we will need access to the property and a lockbox code. A lockbox code or a one day code is the most convenient way clients provide access. If you do not have a lockbox please have let us know the keys location or have the home open that day at start window.

    b. Arrival Time: An estimated window of arrival is typically between 10:00- 11:30 am or similar during the day. ETA depends on loading and enroute travel time from our warehouse, so giving an exact time is not feasible.

  3. Electricity and water: During the staging day we will utilize electricity so please ensure it is in working status.

  4. Having home vacant: Please have the home vacant for 3-4 hours to complete move in and install. All repair work, cleaning, electrical work is advised to be completed prior to staging install day. We want to ensure an efficient process and creative space for our designers to work their magic in a safe environment. Due to liability reasons we allow our workforce (covered by workers comp) around moving furniture. We are unable to risk liability for any other people. Once we are completed we are happy to text, email or call to confirm completion!

  5. Staging Inputs: The team’s staging experience and expertise helps present homes for sale best. Design discretion lies with the BlueGrape team and we plan to make the staged home look great. Incase of any specific staging inputs please feel free to discuss 3 days prior, we would be happy to incorporate whatever we can.

  6. Re-scheduling: If you need to postpone or reschedule please let us know a minimum of 3-4 days prior to reschedule. Call us at 858.652.3007 or reach out the team member you have been in touch with.

  7. De-Staging: Please email or reach out with a 7 business days notice whenever ready to de-stage. Close of escrow date communications help us plan and book de-stagings in time.
